All Procedures and Policies set in place are for the well- being of the client and to create a stress-free environment of trust. This will allow the academic counselor to assess the problem or area of need and proceed accordingly. Please be advised JValencia is not a licensed counselor. This is a service based on parental mentorship that has yielded success for JValenciaACTS, LLC. clients.
To maximize time, please be prepared to share your needs and concerns. Please provide any documentation or materials that will assist in understanding your needs. This may include school and counseling documentation. Each individual is entitled to the privacy of their work with the parental counselor. All contacts with JValenciaACTS, LLLC is confidential. Written permission is required by the client(s) before JValencia ACTS, LLC releases information to any third party. JValenciaACTS, LLC will not release any information regarding any subjects or issues discussed between JValenciaACTS, LLC and parent.

All sessions must be scheduled 7 days in advance. This will give the parent counselor the time needed to prepare for the session.

Cancel at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.

Counselors will give 24 hours cancelation notice, also.

Please be advise that emergencies do occur and any changes to sessions will be rescheduled according to the situation of both the parent counselor and client.
Failure to attend an appointment without first canceling or rescheduling constitutes a no-show. No-shows are non-refundable.
PAYMENT DETAILS

If the Parent Counselor cancels same day, the payment will be refunded.

Clients must cancel within 48 hours to receive a full refund. If cancelation is made same day JValenciaACTS, LLC will refund a partial payment. Parental Counselors are paid for preparation time.

Sessions will be held on the Zoom Platform. After payment is received, the client will receive the zoom meeting details.
