My Teaching Philosophy
As an educator it is my responsibility to create opportunities for learners to engage, stimulate, and make learning an enjoyable adventure. I believe that a best practice for an educator is to provide a safe and stress free learning environment for students to explore.
A safe place is a space to grow, to be challenged, and to make corrective errors. I believe the liberty to grow in a non -threatening environment is a necessity. My most effective teaching moments have occurred when adult and student learners were permitted to make errors and correct their mistakes without judgement. Implementing a plethora of strategies and techniques that compliment real world experiences enhances the ability to assimilate information.
